Principle you are able to negotiate a price in confidence as soon as you find
your dream home.
Mortgage Agreement In Principle
Once you have decided broadly what type of mortgage
you want and that it is affordable to you, you need to know if a lender will
actually lend to you.
The next stage in the mortgage process is to obtain agreement
from a lender to lend to you. This is called an Agreement In Principle or 'AIP'.
An AIP gives you confidence to look at properties and put
offers in but more importantly it lets the vendors know that you are a serious
committed buyer that can afford the property.
This puts you well above being simply a viewer and greatly
increases your negotiating credibility.
An AIP costs nothing and does not commit you in any way but it DOES INVOLVE A
CREDIT SEARCH on all applicants before the lender can complete its assessment of
you and reach a decision.

for all borrowers.

Make the necessary amendments either typing or using the please select tab and
then save the changes.
